Objective
Luca Faloni sought to bring the “soul of Italian craftsmanship” into the physical retail environment by creating a “phygital” bridge between their digital-first roots and their growing global boutique presence.
The primary objective was to design and implement a visual communication program that reflected the brand’s exclusive identity and commitment to timeless quality. They required a partner with specialized integration expertise capable of delivering bespoke, luxury-grade digital solutions that could navigate complex architectural challenges while ensuring a consistent, high-standard experience across iconic locations in New York, Toronto, and London.
Solutions
Mood Media designed and implemented a series of high-specification digital visual programs that align perfectly with Luca Faloni’s exclusive identity. By merging artisanal brand values with cutting-edge LED technology, Mood empowered the brand to activate its “permanent wardrobe” philosophy in a dynamic, high-impact format across its most prestigious global flagships.
Digital Signage
Mood delivered a range of custom LED solutions in partnership with Swedx as the hardware manufacturer, tailored to the architectural requirements of Luca Faloni’s retail environments. Using fine-pitch COB LED technology, the installations support close viewing distances typical in luxury retail, ensuring a consistently clean and refined visual experience across all locations.
NYC Meatpacking District
A bespoke curved COB LED display was designed to seamlessly follow the architectural lines of the store. As part of a new generation of curved COB solutions, it combines high-resolution performance with enhanced flexibility, enabling a format not typically achievable with fine-pitch LED.
Calibrated at approximately 600 nits, or screen brightness, the display delivers a balanced visual output suited to in-store environments. The curved installation required precise mechanical design and alignment to ensure uniform brightness and consistency across the entire surface.
The result is a statement feature that integrates naturally into the space while elevating the overall in-store experience.
Toronto & London Piccadilly
Both locations were equipped with 1.25mm COB LED walls to create a consistent visual identity across flagship stores. Operating within the 600-800 nit range, the displays deliver strong clarity at close range, wide viewing angles, and a uniform finish – key for premium retail environments.
Beyond image quality, COB technology was selected for its durability and long-term reliability, reducing risk of pixel degradation in high-traffic spaces.
Across all locations, the screens provide a cohesive platform for both brand storytelling and product presentation.
Content Management
To manage this sophisticated global network, Mood deployed the Harmony Content Management System (CMS). This centralized, intuitive platform gives the Luca Faloni team complete control over their visual narrative from a single interface. Harmony ensures that high-definition brand content is synchronized perfectly across New York, Toronto, and London, allowing for real-time updates that maintain the integrity of the brand’s global marketing campaigns.
